It’s probably its location that makes Lorraine what it is today.
Located at the borders of France, Germany, Luxemburg and Belgium, it’s a land of passage – some would say invasions.
Of course it was forever shaped by wars and industries.
But now it offers many treasures: History and architecture, nature (yes, forests, hiking paths, etc), art (Ligier Richier, Georges de la Tour, Daum, Gallé, etc.), gastronomy delights (madeleines, macaroons, Vosges sweets, etc.), spectacles, culture, and so many wonders.
The Lorraine Region is really a touristic area to be discovered through its four counties: Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Moselle and Vosges
